Hazel Park Creative Arts News
Just before winter break, the new lighting control console was delivered
to the Hazel Park High School auditorium.
The company that made the previous control console went out of business in 2011, and parts and repair services for that console were becoming more and more difficult to come by.
After discussions with the drama club director and school administration, this was determined to be the highest area of need within the arts program in the school district after the pottery kiln project had been completed.
Hazel Park Creative Arts, with the support of the citizens of Hazel Park, the Hazel Park School District, and may businesses fundraised the $6600 price for the console and two computer monitors that make up the system over the course of the last year and a half.
Thank you to everyone that donated, attended our fundraisers, or helped with our events. We could not provide the support of the arts programs in the Hazel Park School District without your support!
